Are you in, or are you out?

Believe it or not, asking prospects for a simple yes or no, helps get meetings and sales.

Of course, when you ask you get lots of people saying ‘no’.

And that’s fine, because you’ll also get more people saying ‘yes’.

How can this be?

Simply because of fencesitters – it’s the default decision for most of us.

Asking them to make their minds up early on can save you both a lot of time.

By giving prospects a friendly nudge it’s easy to see who to spend your time on, and who not to.

And it’s simple to do, whether you are writing letters or sending mails.

What’s more, I always find it does prompt one or two to get in touch, and say, “Actually, can you help us with this…”
