There’s something all sales letters that sell have: news of benefits.
Fortunately it’s easy to crow bar in too.
Use this template for the letter.
And as many of the 7 emotions you can.
Then, make sure your letter’s main message is the ‘news’ of your benefits.
You need to do it with enough clarity, so that if somebody asked your prospect what the letter was about, they would share the news of your benefits.
If you look at the examples I’ve shared with you so far, they all have this trait.
What’s more, if you are writing copy for ads, the best headlines always have news of benefits.
And if you can add curiosity too, you may well be on to a winner.
Here’s a great example from Drayton which I have never forgotten:
“Now, run your car without spark plugs”
That’s all this time. But don’t forget it – news of benefits should always be your main message. That’s how you’ll book meetings with CEOs.
Best
